Cut around the frame from Prima paper and roughly cut out the centre also, leaving a small 1-2cm gap around the inner edge.
Retain the middle of this frame for later.
With scissors snip roughly 0.5cm slits into the inner border at the bottom left and right corners, the top left edge and the top right corner. Using a paper piercer gently roll the slices of paper towards the frame, revealing the reverse colour of the paper and leaving a dimensional edge to the frame.
Cut the remaining parts of the inside of the frame back and use the scissor blade to roughly these a little for a more distressed look.
Cut the Coredinations cardstock 11”x8.5” and sand the edges to reveal the darker pink core.
Affix your 6x4 portrait photograph underneath the Prima frame and adhere both to the Coredinations cardstock.
Affix this to your 12x12 Bazzill background leaving an equal border to the top, left and bottom, with a wider gap to the right.
From the remaining Prima paper cut a selection of leaves & the vine from the left hand edge and affix foam pads to the reverse of these.
Using a butterfly (or a floral) punch use the remaining parts of the Prima paper (remember it is double-sided!) to punch a selection of shapes and a few small circles to create additional roses from.
Adhere the vine to the left of the frame, adding additional leaves and roses as required, along with your butterfly or flower shapes.
Using the American Craft Thickers, add your title beneath the frame, and use handwriting or other stickers to complete.
From scrap of card cut 1cm journaling strips, add your journaling and arrange to the right of the frame, with another butterfly to complete the page.
Voila! I hope you enjoy scrapping your take on this page and are inspired to try some of the techniques used. A link to all products used and available in the ATDML store is shown!
