Chipboard bird keychain set Thickers: Fabric - By The Yard – Whitehttp://www.atripdownmemorylane.co.uk/catalog/popup_image.php?pID=6066
Piece of chipboard
Tools Used:Trimmer, scissors, double sided tape, 2” circle punch, scoring tool

From chipboard cut three 2”x2” squares and select one of the chipboard birds.

From your choice of patterned paper (they are all double sided) cut three 3”x3” squares, three 1 ¾”x1 ¾” squares and draw round the bird twice (to cover both sides) and cut out the paper.

Cover both sides of each chipboard square with double sided tape and adhere each on into the centre of a 3”x3” piece of paper.

Turn over then fold each corner in and then each side and secure.

Cover one side of the bird also.

Line each of your squares up, evenly spaced, with a bird at the end and then adhere your length of ribbon along them, looping over at the top square and secure with double sided tape.

Taking a 2” circle punch cut out 8 circles from the striped paper and fold each of the circles in half with the stripe inwards and the green side outwards.

Adhere the semi-circles one on top of the other to form a stack and then fold out to form your 3d bauble letter “O” for your Joy decoration.

From a piece of the green paper hand draw a pair of holly leaves and adhere to the first square along with 3 gems for berries and a “J” thicker. For the last square adhere a “Y” thickers sticker and an asterisk (to resemble a snowflake)

Take a piece of patterned paper 3”x3” and concertina fold to form the wings of the bird.  Make a small slit into the chipboard bird and gentle feed the wings through.

Add a small gem either side for eyes and then hang your completed home décor item for all to see!

For the Noel/Ornament décor item cut a 2”x5” piece of chipboard and cover as per the instructions above.Cut three large Bauble/Ornaments and one smaller one from the Fancy Pants paper.

Trace around the three larger baubles onto scraps of the other patterned papers and cut out.

Secure a length of white ribbon or rik rak between the two layers of each bauble and then glue them back to back using foam pads.

Adhere each of the baubles to the base of the covered chipboard rectangle and another piece of ribbon to hang the décor item from the top.

Then secure a 1 ¾” x 4 ¾” piece of pattered paper to the reverse of the NOEL plaque. Add the letters “N”, “E” and “L” from the fabric thickers followed by the smaller previously cut out bauble for the “O”. Stand back and admire!
